Mission description

Global Tampa Bay invites businesses and stakeholders from Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco counties to participate in the Dublin Trade Mission, scheduled for May 11–15, 2026, in Ireland. This mission offers a unique opportunity to explore the region's vibrant market, engage in high-level networking events, and gain insights into foreign direct investment/export opportunities.

Mission Highlights:

Economic Updates: Attend sessions led by industry experts discussing the Irish's economic landscape and investment climate.

VIP Reception: Network with key stakeholders, including government officials and business leaders, at an exclusive event hosted in Dublin.

Curated Business Tours: Visit prominent Irish businesses and institutions to understand operational practices and identify potential collaboration opportunities.

Networking Receptions: Connect with local entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals to foster relationships that can facilitate market entry and expansion.

Mission Agenda

This carefully curated agenda includes targeted business meetings, site visits, and networking events aimed at fostering international partnerships and showcasing the strengths of the Tampa Bay region. Explore the schedule below to see how we’ll maximize our time in market.

Evening: Delegates depart from Tampa Bay for overnight travel to Dublin, with arrival scheduled for the morning of Tuesday, May 12th.

Morning–Afternoon: Delegates arrive in Dublin and check into accommodations.

Evening: Welcome dinner to bring the full delegation together for the first time, review the mission agenda, and prepare for the week ahead.

Morning: Group visit to a leading Irish business or educational institution, offering insights into innovation, workforce development, or sector-specific best practices.

Afternoon: Participate in a lunch and networking event hosted by (TBD) for an update on EU–US trade relations.

Evening: Optional cultural group activity to experience Irish history, arts, or local traditions while strengthening relationships within the delegation.

Morning: Roundtable discussion providing delegates an opportunity to share common challenges, explore best practices, and discuss the future of the Tampa Bay–Ireland business relationship.

Afternoon: TBD

Evening: Evening reception. This program is designed to elevate Tampa Bay as a strategic location for international investment. The event will bring together Irish companies exploring U.S. market entry, offering valuable opportunities to build relationships and promote Tampa Bay as a gateway for transatlantic growth.

Morning: Delegates depart Dublin for return travel to Tampa Bay.

Evening: Arrival back home, concluding the 2026 Global Tampa Bay FDI Mission.
